Escape room in a chest

An escape box can best be compared to a normal escape room where you try to crack a box. An escape box is literally an escape room in a box. With the escape box “The Mummy’s Mystery”, we get up to 72 people puzzling simultaneously. Are you with even more? No problem, our other escape box “A Pirate’s Old Whiskey Crate” can be played with up to 120 people.

Teams Play Against Each Other

To make the gaming experience unforgettable for each team member, we divide the large group into smaller teams that compete against each other. In an escape race, the teams try to crack the box as quickly as possible.

Well-Thought-Out Game Design

The teams wrestle through a series of innovative and well-thought-out puzzles. Processing information, making connections between objects, and giving space for suggestions from fellow players are the main strengths of our escape boxes.

Not unimportantly… our escape boxes are handmade here in Belgium. And we’re proud of that!

Build a Strong Team

As a team, you work intensively together to crack a closed escape box as quickly as possible. While the seconds tick away on the clock, you and your team pore over various well-thought-out puzzles. Collective thinking ability and an out-of-the-box thought pattern are essential to navigate your way through the game. Additionally, communication is the most important characteristic. Share information, say what you think you’ve discovered, and puzzle your way through the escape box.

Collective Thinking

Thinking "out of the box"

These skills are addressed in 'The Mummy's Mystery'

Communication

The puzzles are designed so that you can only find the solution by working well together and listening to each other. Materials need to be brought together or players need to perform physical actions to open the next padlock. Our Escape-Boxes cleverly play on different skills, bringing out the strengths of each player.

Time Management

Where does your team stand? Where are the others? Keep track of how many locks you still need to crack to complete the game. Time management is an important factor in the escape box. Focus on the objects you haven’t used yet and maintain an overview to complete the box faster.

Assigning Roles

There’s a lot to do and time is limited. A strong team will divide roles and occasionally bring all members together to maintain an overview. Who is strong at what and who thinks they know the solution? Divide roles and you’ll notice the locks spring open by themselves.
